Worth Seeing
A unique place in the whole Beskidy Mountains. Great cuisine, attention to detail and successful attempts at animating the local cultural art scene - these are just some of the initiatives taken by the authorities. A really great place that you cannot miss when in Piwniczna.
Nikifor is a symbol of local culture. His work, completely unappreciated during his lifetime, was fortunately (albeit unfortunately after his death) praised with separate chapters in many books about painting and Lemko culture. In Krynica you can see a very interesting museum that shows his works and objects of a simple, everyday life.
The surrounding Beskid bestows us with walking and cycling trails of all colors of the rainbow - from simple, light for families with children, through really demanding and long, sometimes for the whole day and even longer wandering. Beautiful views, unique fauna and flora, endemics and dynamically growing infrastructure to reach everything (including great new bicycle routes) - this is another reason to come here.
